Information about EU grantsYou qualify for an EU grant if you teach elementary, primary, or secondary students (the Comenius grant), or adult students (the Grundtvig grant). Comenius in-service training in another country allows teachers to improve their practical skills and gain a broader understanding of school education in Europe through, for instance, professional development courses. Grundtvig in-service training has the same goals, allowing individual trainers or teachers to pursue professional development. How do I apply for a Comenius or Grundtvig grant? Important! Application forms will not be available on-line until December 2011 but must be filled out digitally and returned on-line with a printed-out, signed copy sent by normal post, arriving no later than 14 January 2012 (this date is preliminary so check with your National Agency). Remember to include your travel days when you are working out your subsistence requirements. Our course is 15 days long when you include the two travel days (9 – 23 June 2012) |
