The teachers

Course Leader: Eleonore Wagner
Eleonore Wagner has taught Spanish for almost thirty years at secondary-school level and was a long-standing board member of the Association of Spanish Teachers of Western Sweden, www.spansklararforeningen.se. She has also worked as a methodologist at the Pedagogic Institute of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She started Lengua y Cultura in 2000 and has been holding annual courses for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language since then.

The teachers
The teachers on the course are Yolanda Domínguez Trujillo and Esther García Vázquez. Both are Licenciada in Spanish philology and are specialists in the didactics of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. For the past twenty years, they have been Lecturers at the University of Malaga, teaching Spanish to foreign university students and working with educators of teachers of Spanish as well as in related fields.

Mats Andrés Björkman will speak about current events and Spanish culture. Born in Malaga of Swedish parents, he is completely bilingual and also speaks English. He graduated with honors in Spanish philology from the Universtity of Complutense in Madrid. He is the editor of the Swedish-language newspaper Sydkusten on the Costa del Sol, www.sydkusten.es.
